Separate file privacy from content privacy
Vidorec does not upload your recording, video frames, file name or storage path to Analytics, advertising or crash diagnostics. This does not hide information that is visible or audible while you record. A notification, keyboard suggestion, account name or spoken conversation can become part of the video itself.
The AI captions feature starts only after you choose it and accept its separate consent screen. It sends only the audio track extracted from the video you selected for speech recognition. It does not send the recording file, video file or video frames. Do not use AI captions for material that you are not allowed to process.
Prepare a clean recording environment
Use Do Not Disturb, remove private widgets, close unrelated apps and switch to a demonstration account. Check clipboard suggestions, browser tabs, photo thumbnails and the name shown by your profile. If microphone narration is unnecessary, record silently rather than capturing the room.
- Record only the app or path needed for the explanation.
- Hide notifications and incoming calls.
- Avoid real customer or financial data.
- Use headphones when microphone and device sound are mixed.
- Tell other people before recording their voice or image.
Review the complete video before sharing
Watch at normal speed and pause on transitions, recent-app screens and notification areas. Listen for names or background conversations. Trim sensitive material, then verify the new export again. When you share, the destination app or service receives the item under its own terms, so choose the recipient and link permissions carefully.
