This policy applies to Screen Recorder - Vidorec on Android and iOS. Vidorec is provided by Deepliy. Questions and deletion requests can be sent to support@deepliy.com.
Summary
Screen recording and video editing happen on your device. Deepliy does not receive or store your screen recordings merely because you record, edit, play, export or delete a video. Data leaves the device only when an online feature is used, such as optional analytics and diagnostics, a rewarded ad, a purchase, feedback, Google sign-in or AI captions.
The core recorder and editor do not require an account. Google sign-in is optional and is used only for AI caption minutes, so a purchased balance can remain associated with the user instead of one installation.
Screen recording and local files
Recording begins only after you approve the operating system's screen-capture or broadcast interface. Android displays its recording controls and iOS displays Apple's recording indicator and broadcast controls while capture is active.
On Android, completed recordings are normally stored in Movies/Vidorec through the system media library. On iOS, recordings are stored in Vidorec's local Documents library and can be exposed through the Files app. Editing projects, recording preferences, captions you type, saved watermarks and other local settings remain on the device unless you deliberately share a result or select an online feature.
Some apps and protected content prevent their video or audio from being captured. Vidorec cannot bypass those restrictions.
Microphone and other permissions
Microphone access is requested only when you select microphone or mixed audio. Android may additionally request notification or display-over-other-apps access for Android-only recording controls. iOS uses Apple's system recording controls and does not provide Android-style cross-app floating controls. File or photo access is requested only when needed to select, import, save or share media.
Analytics, reliability and support identity
Vidorec uses Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Performance Monitoring to understand feature use, diagnose crashes and improve reliability. This may include app version, operating-system and device characteristics, screen or feature interactions, crash stacks, performance measurements, coarse network-derived location and a random installation identifier.
The installation identifier is generated by Vidorec, is not a hardware identifier or advertising identifier, and is removed when app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled. The same identifier may be used in analytics, crash reports and feedback so a user-submitted support report can be matched to the related failure. Logs are designed not to include recordings, payment-card details or secret tokens.
Optional rewarded ads and consent
Vidorec uses Google Mobile Ads only for optional rewarded ads. An ad is requested only after you choose the rewarded-access option; ads do not open automatically. Completing an eligible rewarded ad may unlock specified advanced recording settings for one hour. The reward is granted only after the ad provider reports completion.
Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform may process IP address or coarse location, device or app identifiers, ad and product interactions, advertising data, crash information, performance information and other diagnostics for advertising, analytics, security and fraud prevention. Where required, Google's consent form is presented from the user-initiated rewarded flow before an ad request.
The iOS build does not request App Tracking Transparency and disables Google Mobile Ads' publisher first-party identifier before the advertising SDK starts. Vidorec therefore does not intentionally enable cross-app tracking on iOS. If that behavior changes in a later release, the app, App Store privacy answers and this policy must all be updated before tracking begins.
Purchases and entitlements
Google Play handles Android purchases and Apple handles iOS purchases. Deepliy does not receive your full payment-card or bank details. Store product, transaction or purchase token, purchase time, entitlement state and limited reconciliation records may be processed to grant, restore, prevent duplicate grants, detect refunds or revocations and provide support.
Vidorec Pro monthly and yearly products are auto-renewing subscriptions; Lifetime is a one-time purchase for the applicable Pro recording features. AI caption minutes are separate consumable products and are not included with Pro or Lifetime.
Optional Google sign-in and AI captions
If you choose AI captions, Vidorec may receive a stable Google account identifier, email address and limited basic profile information needed to authenticate the account. Short-lived sign-in tokens are used for authenticated requests and are not stored as permanent entitlement authority on the device.
AI captions do nothing until you select the feature and accept its specific consent screen. Vidorec extracts the audio track from the video you selected and sends the audio—not the video—for speech recognition. Google Cloud Speech-to-Text processes the audio; if translation is requested, caption text may be processed by Google Cloud Translation.
The audio is held only for the job and is not retained by Deepliy as a media library. Vidorec may retain the account identifier and email, caption-minute balance and transaction history, job metadata such as duration, language and error class, and generated caption text. Caption text may be retained so repeating the same completed request can return its prior result without charging twice. A salted device-derived mark may be used to prevent repeated claims of starter minutes; the raw device identifier is not stored for that purpose.
Feedback
If you send feedback, Vidorec processes the message, selected feedback type, app version, language, random support identifier and any diagnostic context you choose to include. Name and reply email are optional. If the device is offline, up to a small bounded number of reports may remain queued locally for a later retry.
Sharing, retention and deletion
When you share a recording, caption file or export, the destination service you choose processes that item under its own terms. Deleting local media from Vidorec or the system Files/gallery app removes that local copy, subject to operating-system trash or backup behavior.
Clearing app data or uninstalling removes local settings and the random installation identifier. Media saved outside the app's removable sandbox may remain until you delete it from the system media library or Files app.
To delete AI-caption account data, balances, job history, stored caption text or support data, email support@deepliy.com from the address associated with the account. We may retain the minimum transaction or fraud-prevention record required by law, store reconciliation or legitimate security needs, and will explain any such exception.
Security, children and changes
Network traffic uses encrypted transport where supported. No system is risk-free, but Vidorec minimizes transmitted data and does not intentionally include screen recordings in analytics, ads or diagnostics.
Vidorec is not directed to children under the minimum age required in their region. We may update this policy when features, providers or legal requirements change. The current policy and effective date will be published at the privacy-policy URL shown in the app and store listing.
